Celebrating Every Journey During National Breastfeeding Month

World Breastfeeding Week

This August, we join families and advocates across the country to celebrate National Breastfeeding Month. This year’s theme, "Forward Together," beautifully captures the spirit of unity and support that is essential for every parent's feeding journey. It’s a time to honor the diverse experiences of families and recognize the incredible network of support that empowers them.

As a company dedicated to providing the best for mothers and babies, we are proud to be a part of this celebration and to champion the health and well-being of every family. Breastfeeding Awareness Month is a movement to create a world where every mother feels supported in her feeding choices and to celebrate the progress we have made, while looking forward to the work we still have to do.

The first week of August marks World Breastfeeding Week, a global celebration of the benefits of breastfeeding. The theme for World Breastfeeding Week 2025 is "Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems," which calls on all of us to create environments where mothers can thrive. For many, this means having access to quality lactation support, comfortable and efficient breast pumps, and the flexibility to balance work and family life.

We believe that supporting mothers is a collective responsibility, and we are committed to providing the resources and products that make a real difference. From hospital-grade breast pumps to educational resources, we are here to help you every step of the way.

Indigenous Milk Medicine Week

Following World Breastfeeding Week, we recognize the importance of Indigenous Milk Medicine Week. The 2025 theme is “Unapologetically Indigenous: Love, Landback, & Liberation,” a powerful call to celebrate the traditional practices and wisdom of Indigenous communities. It is a time to listen to and learn from the voices of Indigenous mothers, who have passed down knowledge for generations.

We honor the resilience and strength of Indigenous families and are committed to supporting their right to practice their cultural traditions. This week serves as a reminder that breastfeeding is not just about nutrition; it is a sacred bond that connects us to our heritage and to the earth.

Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Breastfeeding Week

The third week of August is dedicated to Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Breastfeeding Week. This year’s theme, “Diverse Voices, One Vision,” shines a light on the unique experiences and challenges of AANHPI mothers. It is a time to celebrate the diversity of cultures within the AANHPI community and to advocate for culturally sensitive lactation support.

We are committed to ensuring that all mothers, regardless of their background, have access to the resources they need to make informed decisions about their feeding journey.

By elevating the voices of AANHPI mothers, we can create a more inclusive and equitable world for all families.

Black Breastfeeding Week

We close out the month with a celebration of Black Breastfeeding Week. The theme for Black Breastfeeding Week 2025, “Boots on the Ground; Rooted in Breastfeeding Success, Grounded in Community Support,” speaks to the importance of building a new legacy of Black breastfeeding excellence. For too long, Black mothers have faced systemic barriers to breastfeeding, and this week is a time to address those disparities head-on.

We are committed to supporting Black mothers and to creating a world where they can breastfeed with joy and confidence. We celebrate the beauty and resilience of Black families and are proud to be a part of a movement that is building a new foundation of health and wellness for generations to come.
